Cancellation and Refund Policy

PLEASE READ AND ENSURE YOU UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING REFUND POLICY WHEN PURCHASING ANY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES FROM ONLINE ACADEMY, THROUGH ONLINEACADEMY.COM OR ITS ASSOCIATED SITES OR PAGES.

This Cancellation and Refund Policy, in conjunction with our Terms of Use, Terms of Purchase and Privacy Policy and any other similarly posted terms and/or notices constitute a legally binding agreement (the “TERMS”) entered into between you (“You” or “Client”) and Online Academy LLC (“OA” “us” or the “Company”) (each a “Party” and collectively the “Parties”) and governs your access to and use of our Product(s).

CANCELLATION/RESCISSION PERIOD (RIGHT TO RESCIND)

All purchases may be canceled without penalty or obligation within three (3) days of payment processing (“Rescission Period”). Payment processing is defined based upon the method of payment, as follows:

  • For payments made with a credit or debit card, processing means upon the completion of a successful checkout transaction through the Company’s payment portal/checkout page
  • For payments made via ACH/Wire, processing means upon the receipt of funds by the Company
  • For payments made via Check, processing means upon receipt of such check by the Company.

Upon cancellation during the rescission period, a full and complete refund of any funds collected related to the purchase being canceled shall be returned/refunded.

CANCELLATION/TERMINATION (FOLLOWING THE RESCISSION PERIOD)

Termination by Client. You may terminate your Agreement at any time by submitting a written request to support@onlineacademy.com. Requests submitted via any other method are not accepted and do not constitute a valid termination, cancellation or refund request. 

Please be advised that refunds vary by product as detailed in the ‘Refunds Upon Termination’ section below – all cancellations or terminations do not necessarily warrant the issuance of a refund beyond the Rescission Period unless otherwise specified.

Termination by Company. The Company reserves the right to terminate an Agreement or Services at any time issuing a written notice of termination to you at the email address on file. 

REFUNDS UPON CANCELLATION/TERMINATION

OA Affiliate Agency Clients. OA’s Affiliate Agency enrollments carry our Anytime Refund Guarantee, so a refund may be requested at any time. Upon termination of enrollment in the Agency, the Company shall issue a refund to the Client to make them whole against their original purchase; “whole” being defined as a refund up to the total amount paid, less any commissions or prior refunds or payments issued by the Company to you, and less any refund processing holdbacks as described below. 

All active managed services will be immediately canceled and ineligible to earn commissions, but will be refunded in full pursuant to our Breakeven Guarantee, less any refund processing holdbacks as described below. Any commissions earned or owed prior to termination/cancellation shall be paid in due course.

Refund Processing holdbacks:

  •  In cases where payment was made via credit card, the Company may withhold a three percent (3%) merchant processing fee 
  • In cases where payment was paid directly to the Company via wire, ACH or check, refunds will be issued via ACH and the Company may withhold a fee of up to $25 per ACH payment. Client is responsible for providing complete and accurate Payee information in order to facilitate refund.

Digital Training and Coaching Products. Due to the digital nature and immediacy of availability of digital products, no right of refund exists on digital products or subscriptions beyond the Rescission Period. Termination by the Company will result in a prorated refund in the event product has not been consumed/utilized in full or in the event termination occurs prior to the end of any access/subscription period.

Coaching Products. Due to the resources allocated upon the purchase of Coaching products, no right of refund exists on coaching products or subscriptions beyond the Rescission Period. In the event a request for termination is received, the Company may, in its sole discretion, opt to issue a prorated refund based on the allocation of resources and services utilized. Termination by the Company will result in a prorated refund in the event product has not been consumed/utilized in full or in the event termination occurs prior to the end of any access/subscription period.

Please be advised that any formal agreement in place between you and the Company related to your purchase(s) along with any specific terms therein supersedes the terms described here and governs your Agreement with the Company.

All requests for cancellation are required to be submitted by the purchaser, in writing to support@onlineacademy.com. Requests submitted via any other method are not accepted and do not constitute a valid cancellation or refund request.
